AK Technologies began in 1992 as AK Telecom, founded by Alice Velez and Keith Sturdivant. In 2015, the company was rebranded and relaunched by their son, Matt Sturdivant, to focus on security integration and low-voltage solutions. Today, we’re proud to serve as a trusted partner for clients across Texas, combining family values with industry expertise.

President & CEO
With 19 years of hands-on experience in security integration, low-voltage systems, and project management, Matt Sturdivant leads AK Technologies with a focus on excellence, integrity, and reputation. Since re-establishing the family business as AK Technologies in 2015, Matt has driven the company’s growth, transforming it into a trusted industry leader in the Texas market.
Matt’s background includes managing complex security and networking projects, overseeing teams of technicians, and designing custom security solutions for commercial and industrial clients. His expertise spans every facet of the industry—from fieldwork to executive strategy—ensuring that AK Technologies delivers exceptional service and results.
Tim Rosbrook
Vice President of Operations
Tim brings over 25 years of leadership in operations, project management, and business development. Before joining AK Technologies, he held key roles including Director of Project Management at Allied Universal Technology Services and President of Technology Deployment Services, where he grew annual sales from $300K to $3.9M.
Tim’s experience spans overseeing $40M operations across Southern California and Nevada as Regional VP at NetVersant, and managing national accounts with clients like UCLA and General Dynamics. His track record in scaling businesses and improving operational efficiency ensures AK Technologies delivers reliable, results-driven service to our partners.
Emily Kellar
Chief Administrative Officer
As Chief Administrative Officer, Emily Kellar brings over a decade of experience in operations, team management, and organizational leadership. Since joining AK Technologies in 2020, Emily has streamlined administrative processes, enhanced internal communication, and supported strategic initiatives to drive the company’s growth.
Emily excels in managing complex workflows, improving efficiency, and fostering a collaborative work environment. Her expertise in operations and leadership ensures that AK Technologies continues to deliver exceptional service to clients while maintaining a strong, supportive culture for its team.
